Heres what I got:

85 with 87 ECM, stock 87 EPROM

In closed loop:

Code 44- o2 Lean

IAC= 43
Coolant= 173.3
TPS= .41
INT = 145
o2= .2 through .9
MAF = 4
BLM =150

Car idles a little rough with a little stumble beyond idle.

Vaccum leak?

What do you guys think?

I actually can be of help here. Rob- Please post in your signature exactly what has been modified from stock. We need to eliminate issues as we go through the process of tuning. For example- a code 44 can be a bad o2 sensor, wires, wrong chip, fuel pressure too high, or an exhaust leak. Let us know. Brad

Rob- Your car is way out of tune. I would start with the IAC adjustment. Get it between 20-30 at idle in park engine hot. If you do not know how to adjust the IAC call me at 847-836-6225. Good luck- Brad

Brad,

I got my IAC to come down and re-adjusted my TPS. My BLM is still pegged at 150 at idle, but comes down to around 128 when I give it throttle. I found a nice big crack on the passenger side header today. You can actually hear exhaust coming out of it if you listen carefully.

Rob

Rob- Have both headers checked and welded so that there are no leaks prior to the O2 sensor. After that you need to check for vacuum leaks. Get a can of carb cleaner. When the engine is warm spray carb cleaner around all vacuum lines and all around the turbo. Do this after the headers are repaired. A vacuum leak with carb cleaner sprayed on it will change the rpm. You will hear it. After you have eliminated the exhaust and vacuum leaks we will need to check the TPS and see where you BLMs are. The TPS can be adjusted anytime and is very simple. The real problems are exhaust leaks prior to the O2 sensor and vacuum leaks. Take-care- Brad

The drivers side header was already off and welded. I will be pulling the passenger one off and fix it ASAP. I will try the carb cleaner and check for vac. leaks even though I replaced all the lines (that I could see).

Rob- Use copper gaskets between the heads and the headers. It will save you alot of money and work on the back end. Keep us posted. Brad
