Got my phoney IRS rebate email today

The ole redirect email telling me i need to visit site, use the online form and i get my rebate.

ya click link, it shoots ya to exact copy of IRS site and by the time youve added all your info, they cleaned out your bank account.

I seen on the news it was comming to an inbox near you.

well no..lol but its crafty setup, you hover over link and it shows the real irs.gov url but you click on it and of course the old bait and switch

I love those.

You can automate pasting information into the browser form. Then find out the max characters for each field. Hit play on your recorder and let it run for a few hours. Oh the fun you can have with those. Name Billybob Gates, phone 867-5309 and fun things like that. I only run those on work computers so they don't screw with my home IP address.

Never click on any link you get in any email....period!!! Go to that web site and login yourself.
