Long story short.
New turbo + Bad boost control = PEGGED Boost gauge and Up Pipe blown off.
Car ran fine driving around yesterday when all put back together and readings in Direct Scan look ok.
Today I adjusted boost controller waaay down and went for a light test run but boost still went over 30psi at part throttle. As soon as I saw the boost gauge swing past 30 I hear a large "poof" like the up pipe blew off again before I could let off. Everything under the hood looks fine and intact (even the IC hoses) but the car idles decent for 10 seconds then chugs and dies and it did this many times.
I plug in Direct Scan and all type of codes show up. I reset the ECM by unplugging the orange wire and start it up.
It does the same thing and my TPS reads .04 (yes it coded) and doesn't go up much when reving it or at WOT with engine off.
I then plug in Scanmaster and it displays 2.0 then goes blank even with the car running. No display at all.
I think this is electrical because of all the codes that initially showed up but I could be wrong. I can send a DS file if it would help.
I'll get a new TPS sensor and keep trying to see what I can find but any ideas where else to start? It doesn't make sense that scanmaster won't read anything unless that's a different issue.
