Is anyone on here running one?

Would one work well with an external W/G?

Thanks.

does your wastegate have a port on both sides of diaphram? Are you using a solonoid now? Is boost controller a smart one with its own boost reference, or just a simple one with a dial to change the stock signal. Many serious import guys are using an expensive "smart controller" that will blow boost into the side of accuator to keep wastegate closed untill the set point, or your programed boost/vs rpm, then shut off a solonoid and change to the side of accuator to open it, and bleed of exaust to match requests. Just program controller for boost at rpm, and hook up two solonoids, all lines, and it thinks for for you. There are an infinate number of possibilities to control boost. Do you have a problem with boost?

No no problem with boost really.

A tad of creep in 3rd.

Just looking into things that my improve spoll up.

With the new converter though I proably don't need any quicker spool up.

Poor BFG's.:(

I'd say keep it simple and save money for hookers and booze!

I'm trying a nonlock up from art carr. Holy shazam, waht a difference! Car ripps out of hole, attacks the eighth, then runs out of gearing, and I have to use 4th. I have a GN with alot less stuff than my old one, and it is spanking the old ones times. I had champion heads, roller rockers, but a vigilante conv. in old car, but it never left with as much ooomph, as with my current GN/nonlockup. Can't use all power at launch, just blowes tires. I'm shopping for taller, wider, stickier tires. 10s will be just around the corner. Are you going to Cecil? I am. I guess two runs and I will be kicked off the track for no roll cage. But it will be fun.

Hookers and booze sounds like fun, but I'll have to ask my wife first.:o

That's strange you're running out of gear and needing to go to OD. are you trapping 130 now with a N/L?

I had an A/C 3500 n/l with 27 in tall hoosier QTP's and at 126 mph in the 1/4 still had some rpm left. proably good for 128-129.

Didn't come out of the hole super strong either.

I'm going to go play with this TCS 3800 9X11 today, weeeeeee!

I think my ship MAY be out at sea for Cecil:( .

i guess converter is way too loose for the top end, but it sure launches hard. I'm only going 118mph, and deep into 4th gear?? I put extra clutches in 4th, but I know you're not really suppose to go there WOT. I hit almost 100mph in the eighth, but only gain 18mph in the second eighth. Tune looks good, just a loose converter.

100 in the 1/8th, that's 10 sec power for sure!

What sort of rpm and boost can you foot brake it to?

i have never tried a foot brake, I have a T-brake. It will go up to 15psi++, but tires won't hold. I'll get 28" real slicks, and expect some 10s.

Stage right T-brake?

i don't know what you mean. i have a T-brake from Art Carr. Pull to 1st, then go to D for launch.
