Governor question

Well I had some shifting problem and found the governor spring in the bottom of the pan. I am planing on putting a set screw so it won't happen again. My question is since using a set screw some say use a nylon screw and some say use a metal one but then again the weight of either will make it shift earlier at WOT.

why not buy a new governor from ww.ckperformance .com we have about 100 left and they are brand new from gm.your full throttle upshift will be slightly earlier by adding a screw and not adjusting tv cable .shifts up to 25 mph on the primary weights wont be affected.
