Wow, that is the fastest I've ever seen someone get the platinum trophy. It took me a year to get platinum in MW2.

Oh ya, Jeff Gorden voice in the Nascar section drives me to drink...

I find myself yelling "shut up" at the TV whenever he's talking. Worst part of the game in my opinion. Jeff Gordon I mean.

So far, I'm pretty happy with the realism of the game. I've never driven $175,000 supercars, but I imagine when going 180 on a straight on the Nuremberg and then punching the brakes, any car would get squirly. I can really feel the weight shift around and how it effects the handling characteristics.

I've been playing nonstop too. B Spec is driving me nuts, the AI is terrible. My driver will be a lap ahead at Daytona and slam on the brakes in the middle of the straightaway.

That being said, my RM 69 camaro and RM C6 Z06 have won me a crapload of races! The Veyron is badass too. I am around level 16 now and going to start collecting old cool cars with the extra $. I got a GNX two days ago and am looking for the shelby mustang next.

Other than the AI being horrible, the game is a lot of fun. Rally driving is nuts!

I own all 5 of the grand turismo's and really enjoyed them.
The only thing that I would probably change is the endurance racing on the last levels 300 laps of Grand valley speedway or 250 laps of deep forest raceway is very fustrating,especially when you cannot save your game after x amount of laps.The first three I completed 100% and the 4th I gave up.:frown::frown:Hoping on the 5th there are some changes.

Oh ya wait until you get into one of those F-1 cars(10 to 20 Million).Forget the super cars ,these race cars are sick.
If or when you get one run them on the drag strip,there 1/4 mile times are anywhere from 7.5 to 9 seconds...

The part I don't care for is that I can not change the configuration of the controller ( I have not been able to find it, if it is there). in the first 4 I always changed it in GT4 I had R2 a accelerate & L2 as brake & those buttons make you able to contol accelerate & brake, instead of just full on.

The control pad buttons are pressure sensitive...You can roll into the throttle and brake with those buttons as well.

Same with grand turismo 4 and I think 3.

I have not seen a 1/4 track on the gt-5,but 1 thru 4 has it.
i am going to try make one on the new course section.

there isnt any, but you can use de la sarth as a really, really, long drag strip. its got a 3 mile straight. its the one without the chicanes BTW. you can really reach top speed there. my bugatti veyron... 257mph.

What do you mean "just full on"? The right stick is for acc and braking. and you can vary the throttle and amount of braking. The more you move the stick fore or aft, the more acc or braking. It's NOT an all or nothing thing.

Use a fully modded challenger, full race spec, everything, tune the suspension right, and push to the lead, when you get there, do your best to block them. Also a Toyota 7 would work

yes. you can gift them and share online
