What's up guy's, Ok I come across a guy with a Gn, says he has a parts car so I go take a look.he has a Gn burnt to the ground. He says it was in a garage that burnt to the ground, with the car in it. my ? Is.What Is Still good on this "parts car", it has the g80 rearend. can I use it or do you think the fire warped some thing's. how about the engine an trans. maybe the wire harness. Lil paint on the air filter housing. What else u you see.I'm still looking for the parts car.

Looks to still have grease and oil on the tranny so it should be ok for a rebuild. The engine should also be ok for a rebuild. Cant see the rear end so hard to say. As for the rest of the stuff on the engine, I think its pretty much SMOKED LOL

Any pics of the rest of it ?. If the reared is dirty and the pin on seal looks in tacked and not melted, it should be ok. Hard to tell with out seeing

how in the world did the plenum survive so well? Odds are the axle is OK for rebuilding and if that's all you're looking for that's about all I'd pay for. The block and crank are probably OK for a core as well. Everything else is pretty much crushed weight.

You have to see it in person. Guy said it came from Tx.a wildfire burnt everything he owned. guy said I could have the posi for trade in work on his Gn. when I was there did check the trans, yup smelt burnt.

Damn,Melted the throttle body but the coil pack somewhat survived.How in the hell did the tires survive?

This happened in a Texas wildfire ( I know that area pretty well and it's shocking to see what happened there)
