I would say with that stock fuel press reg and if you were running that high of boost , you had to be running way lean and getting bad knock . If you ask me you are very lucky that you dont have to put some head gaskets on now.

TAKE CARE

Knock dosen't always have to be audible....I sometimes get a few degress of retard (6ish) its not audible, but still its damaging.....

well, I got my guages on tonight, and at about 3\4 throttle, still scared to go WOT, the boost never got any higher than 15-16psi (I installed it through the plug in the front of the intake, not just "some" vacuum line)...and as far as the knock guage goes...it varied...

when I started from a stop, the l.e.d.'s never went above 1\2 way (about the 2nd yellow one), but if I nailed it at about 45, the knock went from a single green, to high yellow-to one red, w/o going through yellow. I let off immediately!

What do you guy's think?!?

I forgot to mention, that no audible knock was heard...I guess it's a good thing for the guage...and when the guage showed knock, it wasn't until the "top" of the gear...it was green all the way up until the RPM's got high...(don't know if that helps, but ... there it is)

Mine would get some knock if i would floor the car and it down shifted but it would not if i want from a stop .

I really think you are running lean and running out of fuel in the high rpm's . I would try to turn the waste gate out some and drop the boost to about 13-14 psi and see if it still does it . If it stop's when you do this you are running to lean and don't turn it back up till you get a adj fuel reg.

Hope this helps

When you start getting into the high yellows/Reds its time to stop fooling around with it, and turn up the FP a bit...that is about 9-11 Degrees of knock, and it "aint good"

Turn up the FP a good amount..then take it from there.

I agree with Kevin..it sounds like the car is leaning out.

If you dont have a fuel press reg [ adj ] one that is , turn the boost down some. If you cant add fuel , take air away. Do this till you have no knock then you should be ok. You don't want to have to put a head gasket on that car it's not fun.
