I known each car is different, but please give me your percentage #'s for each setting-just trying to get a baseline

it depends on your wastegate settings.i would start around 45%.if you give me more info on what wastegate you have and its settings without the boost controller i could maybe help a little more.

nick,

stock turbo, HD actuator set at 17psi...69% was about 20psi and 71% was about 22psi

I have the ATR external
I'm trying to work out the lag-not how much I boost
suggestions on the numbers please-Thanks

Well, if you're trying to get the turbo to spool quicker change the psi at which the solenoid starts to bleed. Should be easy enough.

what spring is in your atr wastegate?i find to get the greedy to work great with the external gate you need to get the car to boost around 14 pounds with the boost controler in the "off" mode.that basically puts the wastegate solely in charge of boost control.if it has too weak a spring you will probably only get it to boost about 20 pounds with a real high percentage setting.

a trick i have used many times is too get a spring that will fit inside the origional spring to acheive the desired 14 pounds.

if you get the boost around 14 pounds on just the wastegate when you turn it on 45 will be around 18pounds and 80 about 28 pounds.

nick,

as far as getting rid of lag.you need to adjust the start boost setting(set gain)you must be carefull becuase this setting is done by actual boost numbers ,not percantage like the rest.i made that mistake myself and actually had this setting set on my car at 5 pounds of boost thinking it was 50%.for example,it reads 50 which which means 5.0 in actuality.

also keep in mind that even if you have the start boost(set gain) high with a weak spring it will still open sooner.i have found thru trial and error that my combo of a heavy spring rate and these controller settings work the best on a turbo buick with the greddy.

good luck.
nick,
