This was my 1st time for the GS Nats. and I was very impressed with the turnout and the cars !!
Not so with the track as the time displays were not working on 1 lane, the cleanup at track level was slow and overall it didn't seem this place was prepared or overly concerned with our presence. Why no lites (portables) for Sat so they could run after the rains rather than cancel the whole day, cover the staging area at nite to be ahead of possible rain, better drying process etc...... At $20 per day per person the track should be able to handle this since it has been a yearly event for some time? Just 1 mans opinion as the show must go on!
