Hey guys, I was just about to order a Te-44 until I came across the new gt3255e turbo. From everything i read it seems like its a better turbo all around then the te-44. Is this true? I was also wondering, I read you need to buy a new actuator for it, but is that all?? Does the exhuast elbow off the stock turbo bolt up to these new turbo's? Thanks!

Your stock elbow will bolt right up. MAke sure you tell the vendor that you are using the stock elbow and whether its ported or not. If the exhaust side is freer flowing than stock, they may need to openup the WG hole a little is why that is important to tell them. I've heard very good things about the 3255 as a good step up from the stocker. I have a GT3251e that I'm trying out which has a bit smaller wheel than the 55e and it spools instantaneously compared to the stocker on my TTA, 10# instantly with stock D5 convertor.
