Any thoughts on a GT70 P trim with a .83 precision housing vs a T-netics 70BB with Q trim? It's for an iron headded TSM motor. Wondering about spool and which would be better at 30 psi. Thanks

It all depends who built the P trim 70. But between without any further info i would take the 70 BBQ hands down..

Limit Eng. 70 p trim is what I run. I love it. Times below are with .63 exhaust housing. I have a .85 to try for maybe another tenth or two.

Scott you are the man!
Does your turbo have the GT Compressor Wheel?

Is the GT70 new, like released within the last couple of months?

What did you spend on the GT70 Scott?

Around $1300, I think. I got mine in Sept. Don't think it was anything new or cutting edge.

I talked to chopper at limit engineering the other day and he told me there is only one 70 turbo that they build........the only difference being the choice of exhaust wheels (p or Q).
He mentioned that he builds the turbos and they only use Garrett parts and there is only one wheel they use on the cold side, unlike innovative/pte.

3 or 4 bolt?

Scott,

That's very impressive for a small 70, Great job! Does your turbo like 28-30 psi? Thanks

below time is with 29 psi. Couple of weeks ago I ran 9.97 at 27 psi and with a passenger in the car. :D

Whew! That's flyin....I'm thinkinking about stepping it up soon to the same turbo. Great time scott.

Thanks Ray, Chopper @ Limit Eng. will hook you up. I also highly recommend California Perf. Transmission (aka, real Art Carr) P/N 19930 N torque converter.

What is the slip % on the converter?

For some reason 6% rings a bell, but honestly I have no idea. Who would know??

Hey thanks Scott. I bought by current turbo from Limit Eng. and couldn't be happier. Also bought a torque convertor from Art :D that is now in my buddie (Pablo's) car. Both vendors are first class acts...period. :)

Comes up 7.11%
But I'm guessing on the RPM. I know my shift light is set at 6000 and it doesn't come on before the finish line, so I guessed 5900.
