GTA wheels Re Paint Help

can i bead blast the pealing clear coat and paint off the gta wheels , then repaint and polish, someone must have stripped these wheels and refinish.HELP, how do i polish the wheels back, PLEASE HELP

I had my GTA wheels stripped and the centers repainted black. The outer lip was polished and I did not have them clear-coated. I can take Mother's polish and shine them at will. They really look good. I friend of mine had his done alos but he had clear sprayed on the polished part. They also look good. He is going to sell the wheels if you are interested.

my question is basically , how were they stripped, bead /sand blasted or a chemical, Thanx, i've posted this on gnttpe for 3 weeks with no response,people respond better here thank you

Chemical stripper would be best. If you bead blast the polished lip it will be a ton of sanding and polishing work to get it looking normal again. Trust me I been there.

Try blasting it with one of the newer plastic based medias. It will take off the clear and some of the color and polish it slightly at the same time.

The body shop used chemicals to strip the wheels. The lip was polised and the centers were taped off and painted. I chose not to have them clear-coated.

thanx everyone for the help , but i already had them sand blasted yes im sanding now, now next how about some tire suggestions would like 255/ 50/16 on rear

i would tell anyone , sand blast and sand i now have about 4 hours in each wheel, including sanding minor curb rash and they look GREAT, sandblasted with fine sand, 150 grit, 220 ,300 wet, 420 wet, 600 wet, not even polished and they look their best, still need tire help mt drag radials, g force sport? help before its to late
