I just got the body back on the frame yesterday. Everything went super smooth. All the body mount bolts went in without any fuss. I need to know what the torque value is for the bolts and how do I make sure the body is back where it is suppossed to be? Does it kind of self align?

I didn't torque to a specific value, just got them tight but before I snugged them down I measured from the outside of the frame rail to the bottom edge of the car and made the measurement the same on both sides.

If the body is NOT straight on the frame you may NOT be able to create the correct hood opening between the fenders due to the skewing. Ask me how I know..

I believe it's 52 ft-lbs. That's what I found previously searching and what I tightened mine down to.

I have it even for side to side, but how do you measure front to back? Would you just center the wheels in the rear wheel well?

Just snug em up for now....don't fully tighten them until you fit the front sheet metal as mentioned above...aks me how I know.... As far as final torque value.....approximately 5-6 seconds with a 1/2 drive impact wrench is about right. ;)
