The Israeli school system has the right idea: The teachers and staff pack, and the weapons are clearly visible! That = no school house rampages. Texas has a start, with some districts using the "Guardian" system. Qualified staff pack, but no one knows who is/isn't.

NE moron that installs a "gun free zone" sign, should be the first "responder", to attempt stopping the shooter.

The last one is really good. If that's a true statistic, it's pretty amazing. The problem with liberals in general is that they must have been all dropped on thier heads when babies, in the birth canal too long...something. I don't understand where that type of logic comes from. My wife is from Puerto Rico, it is illegal there to have a gun in your house. (there is a registration process, but it doesn't work, the cops will steal your guns, and try proving that). When I was stationed there, our neighbor broke up with his girlfriend. She called and told police he had a handgun in his house. The police came, cuffed him, put him in jail until a search warrant was obtained on Monday (this was a Friday afternoon), then his home was torn apart and searched. When nothing was found, they released him on Tuesday morning. Just a little payback for asking her nicely to move the hell out. Point is, PR has at least double the shooting death rate per capita of any U. S. State. Daily shootings, hundreds a month (gangs and drugs). Shootings so common that people are leaving by the thousands. My wife would never consider living over there again. When you outlaw guns, outlaws will still have guns. How many times does it need to be proven?? The cops over there make minimum wage, so they don't arrive until ALL the shooting stops, and those who are un-shot have already gone home.
