Guys in CT - Who has UI for a electric utility??

Us poor suckers who have them better get ready to take it up the wazoo with the new electric rates going into effect in 2007.

First they wanted a 38% hike but at the last minute decided to go all the way for a 49.9% increase. Unreal, CT will have the highest rate in the country now. Wonder who we beat out?? Politicians doing the usual song and dance about it but of course nothing will be done.

I have CLP Mark. I too am waiting to see what they do? Propane prices go down, electric goes up. You just can't win in Connecticut. Taxes, Insurance, Traffic, Weather, Real Estate, Gas Prices, etc... This place really sux and cant wait to retire and move south. It's a wonder anyone would choose to move here if not forced to because of their job!
