Yeah Vince has definately prooven to be a show when it comes to air time! I'd love to see an 11ft rim and see what these guys can do. I love Jordan and grew up idolizing him and I think he's the greatest of all time but when it comes to the things these guys are doing now a days, Vince would give Jordan a run for his money!

I have mixed emotions with Jordan. He was no doubt one of the greatest players, but he should of lost that second bout against Dominique Wilkins back in '88. The human highlight reel (nique) was unbelievable back then. Vince Carter is my all time favorite, but I actually liked watching Harold Miner throw it down too. Ronnie Fields was great back then too, but he never made the league. Today's dunkers though, especially out of the league like Kenny Dobbs @ 6'3", are simply unbelievable to watch...

I like when the little guys throw it down hard. People forget that Harold Miner won the contest twice, and man he used to throw it down hard. Listed at 6'3" (in his sneakers), as he was a tad shorter than that, he owned that contest when he was still playing. Great dunker, good shooter, he just got hammered in the lane though...

As for the next generation it has to be vince carter. If lebron would grow some balls and compete in the dunk competition he could be but he doesn't have the imagination that vince had. Someone who isn't mentioned is shawn kemp who could throw it down too.

The Reign-Man, Shawn Kemp threw it down with authority. On a fast break, when you seen Kemp going up from the free throw line you knew it was going to be a monster tomahawk dunk. Nobody threw it down harder in my opinion, he was a raw power dunker...
