HARD BRAKE PEDAL/BARELY ANY BRAKES

THE BRAKE PEDAL IS HARD, I CAN ONLY PUSH IT DOWN MAYBE AN INCH AND CAR WILL BARELY STOP BRAKE LIGHT IS ON AND IDEAS WHAT IT COULD BE. COMPLETLEY CAN NOT DRIVE CAR DUE TO NOT ABLE TO STOP CAR.......ANY THOUGHTS

This link may help you fix the powermaster brakes. But the best way i know of is to convert over to vacuum brakes and you will have less trouble with brake issues and for a lot less money.

l had the same issue...then I converted to vacuum brakes, and the drivability and my confidence, improved dramatically!!

I had the same problem. It was the accumulator ball that was bad. They are pretty inexpensive. Pretty sure I got my replacement from Gbodyparts.com.

Time to junk the power disaster. Be thankful you didn't wreck. Upgrade to vacuum or hydroboost. Don't waste a penny on even trying to fix pm.
