Hey guys, just curious if any of you have taken the metal brake feed line out of the car and put in a new one? It looks to me like this could be a real pain in the butt. I have an adjustable porportioning valve cut in the line and I would like to replace it with a new line and take the valve out, utilizing just the stock portportiong valve. Can this be done easily? Thanks! -----Jeremy

I replaced one last year on my car, from Classic Tube in stainless, it wasn't hard to snake in there at all on a lift.

Lube the existing fittings up good in advance.

I replaced the rear rubber line three years ago with one from Russell so that end came off easier than at the prop. valve which had been on there from day one.

But, it's a lot easier than a fuel line for sure.

Wouldn't be so easy in a driveway in winter either however.

That's how my splice repairs originally were done under not so pleasant conditions. :(

If you can get on a lift it shouldn't be that hard.
