I thought there was a place in the West that did it...but search didn't find it.

Sure would like to hear from anybody who has successfully widened their stock aluminum rims.

Thanks, Bob

Try this place: Trudesign wheels (303) 296-2585. Someone posted that they widen aluminum rims. Let me know if they do, kind of interested myself!

Hey those are nice! How much for a pair of them.

And what backspacing do they have? :)

I would be interested in a pair myself. What backspacing do they have?

Who did the work on the rims? I would like my stock rims to look similar, thanks!

wow.. those are slick! i really like those snowflakes.. my brother has a set of those on his 77 formula.. i've got a set of 80 style turbo t/a wheels on my gn right now(looks kinda cool!)but im running 1/8th inch spacers and my 255's rub in the back on big bumps. the 1/8th inch spacer is just enough to clear the steering arms too...how bout a price on those wheels man!!!???

I just wish they made it in 8.75 for the gn wheels..all they offer is 8 or 10..8 is not that much bigger than 7s..we need a lil bit more for the tires i think..
Nice looking wheels there though!!!!

Trudesign Wheel #

Hey guys just a heads up that the number for Trudesign is 1-800-621-6436 I just spoke to them the other day.
Ask for Jim. He is the guy that can answer all your questions. They can do all sorts of cool stuff to wheels.

** More info

WOW - I didn't expect this much interest.

Here is the scoop. They are 3 3/4 backspacing.

Size is 8 1/2 x 15

- They are media blasted and chemically cleaned
- The color coat is applied to any colored area
- The Wheel is remachined to take about 1/1000 off
- Then the entire wheel is clear powder-coated

I have 4 only. I will not separate them unless two people join together and take 2 each. Price is $650.oo plus shipping - usually about $50.00 + or - .

And yes, I can have the standard 15 x 7's done to match them. I have one set that I could have done. So, 2 people could get mixed sets - two each of 8 1/2 x15 and 7 x 15. Same price for the 15 x7's.

Hope that answers everyone questions. :D

PS - NO the wife did not like all those Rims in the Living-room!!

How about Narrowed T wheels? I think it would look cool to have the 8.5" out the back and like 3.5 or 4 in the front with a really skinny tire.
