I'm just curious, but why in the hell would anyone order anything from him? at least once a month there is someone bitching that they can't get parts from him, can't get in touch with him, can't get there parts, the list goes on and on. so I ask why would anyone order a damn thing from him? MHO if someone orders anything from him and they get burnt it's your own damn fault. this will probably piss 85 ttypewh1 off and probably several more, but I just don't understand it.

It amazes me how stupid some people can be I have already asked for no opinions but some people are just that dumb i guess. And it is probably because they know i will never see them which means they can flex their computer muscles. Poor little lost souls.

Thats why you move heavy things for a living, so when you dont follow directions and you mess up it probably wont hurt it. His down pipes arnt the best ive had them all and as for his plenums are nice but come on

Thanks for not rubbing salt in my wounds like some others who posted here. I have moved on as far as i already have a 3 inch replacement dp from a guy i bought a set of headers from. It is just that a couple other guys on this site have also bought a d/p from him seeing as he is the only one that is suppose to make them anymore. And they have yet to recieve them as well since they have not posted yet, and i have only heard of 1 guy not getting his part from him ever. So i want to believe that he is just swamped like he and everyone who knows him says and believe i will still get my pipe. Now maybe he is going to screw the rest of us that are still waiting but according to the past that has only happened once and i think it was you, but if i remember right bweavy did get the pipe from him and sold it to recoup the money he gave you. I just wanted to know if those other guys got their pipes to see if mine would show up. But as ussual some unhappy people on here have to poke and prod to make themselves feel as though they never got screwed.

Well, I mean realistically here, are his down pipes that cheap to put up with the hassle? I live in a smaller town and there are a lot of welding shops and guys who fabricate on the side. Point being, it's not very hard to draw up or describe what you want someone to make for you and have it done for a reasonable price and in a reasonable time-frame. It's just a down pipe, the homemade one on my car works no worse than anything else out there, I'd be willing to bet. I don't care if he is backed up. You shouldn't take on the work and lie to people if you can't come through with things on your end. His $hit isn't that nice, I've seen the welding he does up close and personal. The local high school welding shop kid does better work.

I can find people that make the pipe but when i tell them to intergrate a elbow with wastegate puck they say they are not interested. He was going to make me a 3inch ss downpipe with the elbow and wastegate puck and have it hot coated and a 3 inch ss test pipe shipped for 415. Bweavy wanted 485 plus shipping and he could not get one.

Hmmm I dont know what your looking at, but all these intakes he welds up look pretty darn good to me... but I must be blind. I think in all of his years making buick parts, Ive only seen one problem with any of em... a test pipe which I probably welded and had a small pinhole in it. If his creations arent nice, why the hell do people still buy em... It cant be because they just like him now, can it? I think its amazingly flattering that I have a brother who makes parts so nice that people still order a pipe or intake, fully knowing it may take a few months to get due to backlog. This particular pipe is not made by all, but most of his stuff can be bought elsewhere, with a much faster shipment. Simply amazing... defys all logic of economics and business.

As far as having someone properly manufacture a nice pipe for you since not everyone is as handy as you, big stu, its pretty much a long shot for having made cheaply, unless you have a friend in a machine/fab shop. As soon as you have the need for high precision parts, be it NC'ed or even manually produced, every shop talks quantity. For eg., I paid $500/1 for a punched and bent 18ga. amplifier chassis to be made at a NC fabrication shop instead of making it for 20 bucks myself. When you get to buying 50 of em, the price is about $50/per. No shop that wants to make money is going to design a pipe, the flanges, and all the parts, have the pipe mandrel bent, NC the bushings and inconel pucks, Cut out the flanges, and then want to sell it for anywhere near 500 bucks. Rrrrrright (say that in that DR. EVIL voice, please, it will be funny).

This is good though, Keith needs bad reviews and negativity. He's already on the verge of stopping the buick stuff since he's doing much better and friendlier business with the impala crowd. I swear the only reason he still makes buick junk is because I still have one and there actually is a handful of nice, pleasant TB owners out there (btw, thanks 85ttypewh1 for your enduring patience).

He wouldn't get the bad reviews and negativity if he got peoples stuff out of there in a decent timeframe. I wish him good luck with his impala endeavors. The downpipe I looked at sucked ass and then some, sorry to tell the truth. It came from your brother and this was in the last year. Yes, my good friend owns a company that machines aerospace parts for the military, boeing, and others. I can have whatever I want made, that is not the point. The point is that we continuely see months late work and bs associated with mease. I don't dislike him, I have never met the guy. Do you think you would be pissed after waiting months to get something you paid for? I would. Which is why I avoid bad dealings with fab shops to begin with. If he was the only person to make intakes and downpipes I would still find an alternative solution. Sorry to be a dick but that's how it is.
