Have AFS20s been superceeded

Oxygen sensors...ever hear of them?? If ya don't know what an AFS20 is I guess not ;)
 
I bought the 3 fer $66 deal that Ramchargers had and they are AFS81s... 22 is the heated one correct? They do look the same, dont know...

AFS22 is a GNX O2 sensor, not heated.
 
looks like the AFS81s belong to the GM 4 cylinder line. You can look here to find out which vehicle the AC Delco part # belongs to

part #
 
OK, I'll ask it. Whats the difference between the stock turbo O2 sensor and the GNX one?
 
Supposedly, the GNX O2 sensor is more heat resistant and will cycle faster than the GN O2 sensor. The GM computer (of that era) isn't the fastest of automotive computers, so I don't know whether the faster cycling will make a difference. But a sensor that is more heat resistant may be more durable.
