im getting my alky kit in the mail and was wondering if 19 pounds of boost on the street and 24 at the track would blow a head gasket? the internals are all stock and have about 100k on the motor. thanks for the help jerrad

This needs to be in the tech forum.

If you make sure that you have no knock (NO KNOCK), you will be just fine. There are folks running 30+ psig on stock head gaskets; they tune for NO KNOCK!
 
If you're going to running alky at the track don't worry about running two different setups. I run about 24 psi and 23* of timing with 93 and alky on the street. At the track I run 24psi and 23* of timing on 93 and alky. Thats the good thing about alky if you have a street driven car. Like ron popeel (sp?) set it and forget it.

Its nice having 400+ hp and 550+ ft/lb of torque to the rear wheels at all times.
