head lamp door

Hello. The drivers side headlamp on my TTA takes a long time to open and close. It also makes a whining noise when it raises and lowers.I can also push it down when it is open. Does any one have an idea what could be wrong ? If so please let me know. Thanks

Sounds like the headlight motor is gone. You can get a repair kit from Lon @ TopDownSolutions (http://www.top-downsolutions.com/).

Never done it myself (have to do it on my 2 spare motors at some point); there is instructons (a PDF document) on Lon's web site that will give you step by step instructions but my understanding is that it's pretty straight forward and should not be a big project at all.
