ok I recently sold my Jeep and I had a pioneer head unit in it that I had taken out
along with my subs and amps and stuff

I want to do a little at a time

what do I need to install the head unit?
is there a wiring harness like there was for my jeep or can I just plug it in?

thanks

Carl

Assuming you are putting this in a g-body, (namely a regal) since you didnt specify...
Yep, there is a wiring harness... Metra makes one. Somebody probably has a part # handy. Just make sure its for "old style" GM 88 and earlier cars. You wont need an adapter for the antenna either, it should plug right in.
You will also need a mounting kit if it is a single DIN unit. There are ones that fit our DIN and 1/2 dash and are larger. They usually do not require any aftermarket kit. The single DIN sized units will need a kit to take up the space around the head. Some kits will center it in the opening, others will let you place it at the top or bottom, and have a 1/2 DIN size spot for an EQ or other stuff besides that.
Good luck on your new project! :)

whats the metra website?

where can I get all these plug ins and double din match up and stuff

thanks
