Between the two go with the ones on the right... But keep in mind if you use those on the left it looks like you're going to move the headers about 1/2" further away from each other... The crossover pipe isn't going to like that and will most likely make you pay for it.

Personally I've had good luck with the cheepie felpro gaskets from the fast food parts house.... BUT I've also had good luck running without gaskets as is GMs way.

I've had very good success with the Remflex.
I blew out more than a few other brands - and never the Remflex.

I blew out two sets of Remflex. Not impressed. Especially for the price. They crossover had to be modified as mentioned. I used 1400 Felpros this time around. Much better. You can actually tighten them up without squishing them out.

If there is a gap, you will blow out anything. I ran RJC's for awhile. I imagine they are similar to the remflex. I blew one out at Norwalk. Make sure the flange is flat. If it is warped, you can straighten it by bolting it to the head with a washer under the high spot. Run a file across it and use high temp rtv.

Running t a race headers , used the gaskets that came with them and blew out the # 6 cylinder gasket pretty quick .

Not sure if the thickness causing a gap and cross over fitment is a big issue because it's a slip fit.

the percys are made out of some type of aluminum and they boast about being the last set you ever have to buy. i haven't pulled my engine in several years but will this winter for a different shortblock and see how they are holding up

I would not use any gaskets on stock headers.

T/A headers or others with thick flange you can get away with it but why? They will eventually blow. My advice, make sure the flanges are flat, put a little copper rtv around the ports and forget about it. You will never have to worry about a blown gasket.

FFT Even T/A headers need to be trued out of the box. Why they don't do it is beyond me. It should be the last thing done for QC.
