Headlight Issue

Hello Guy's.

I have lost my headlights???
All fuses are fine it also takes down my radio/Inteerior lights and PWR Locks when I turn the lights on...
Twilight sensor?

Yes,
The Harness from the Starter to Fuse Panel Melted (To close to the exhaust)
I had to replace the melted section... Took a test light and about an hour to figure it out.. LOL..
I work in electronics so Soldering a new section was not that bad...
I simply disconected the harness from the starter and pulled the it up to the top of the motor resoldered, new ring terminals and all is good now...
Just remember to use heatshink to seal all soldered sections.
I also split a section of high temp heater hose and sliped it over the harness to protect it in the future..

Sounds like a fusible link burnt.

The fusable link didn't burn, but the nut on the starter loosened up enough that one of the wires grounded to the started shield and burned off. We could have lost the entire car. We fixed our wires and installed a mini-started to keep the terminals down and away from the heat shield and headers. -the other Kelsch
