Heads and intake

How hard is it to port the heads and the intake.

It took me lots of time. Make sure u get a good dremal with the extension and lots of cutting stones. It took me 2-3 hours on the intake and about a week on the heads.:biggrin: Or longer car was down for three months for parts and having vavle guides installed and installing roller cam.:tongue:

yes you will most definetly. if run 26 psi on stock heads. running 21 psi on ported heads will feel the same so then you can crank it to 26 and reeaaalllyyy feel it pull

Should I do it my self or send it to some one professional,and what would they cost thanks.

You can do the intake yourself with tools & some reading. I would leave the heads to a pro & get some before & after flow sheets with details of what they did. To get a full job on the heads with good oversize valves, quality springs etc your at $1000 aprox.

several noted head porters, as well as some vendors that use a cnc for porting, on these boards.
do a search or open a thread to make a request for those available.
