Fellow members I might have a free grabs at 87 8445 heads I was wondering if they are different from our 85s ? Are they the same thing? Will they work on our cars ?

Ok that confused me 
……. They will work ? So what makes them slightly different ? Is there any cons to using them or is there modifications that have to be done to make them work correctly?

because 84-85-86-87 3.8L Buick engines, both naturally aspirated (carbed) and forced induction (turbo) used the same 25518445 casting. no difference at all.
I'd say JM was referring to the 80-81 ...6293 casting that did not have the bridged water jacket port at the end of the casting as the slight difference to the ...8445 casting.
