Heard my first "whistle tip"!

Remember Bubb Rubb and the whistle tip?

I was sitting my living room and I heard this high pitched squeal coming from outside. I tought it was an ambulance or fire truck, but it sounded a little off. About thirty seconds later a VW Golf rides by making the awful sound. This thing was so loud, that I heard it well before I saw it, and I was inside! It looks like the whistle pipe has made it to the east coast suburbs!

LOL. If you like writing tickets for things like whistles, illegal lighting, loud 4 banger exhaust, move to my town. We need more like you, it's gone crazy around here. It's fast and furious everywhere you go.

Man id love to be under your rock, these things suck. I believe you can get them at pepboys, and when the exhaust goes through the tip, it whistles. Very lame and equally annoying!!

Apparantly it's a piece of metal that is welding inside of a muffler/tip. When the exhaust passes it, a very annoying whistle is produced. Extremely loud!

There was a post about them earlier thsi year here. It featured a news clip with some degnerate named Bubb Rubb describing how it works. Really ghey, IMO.
