Would anyone happen to know the AC part number for the stock Heater Control Valve??

Is this the correct # for the heater control valve under the hood? The valve that goes in the heater hoses that attaches to the heater core.

I need the part number for the heater control valve, also.

I think the part# that 1970gsx refers to (16034664) is *not* the correct one -- he says "Sorry, I thought you were asking for the control unit in the dash."

I looked up a Buick exploded diagram-- GM part 25518895 is described as "heater control flow" but the picture corresponding to this part# is wrong.

Also, 25518895 cannot be found at GMPartsDirect, although that does not necessarily mean the part# is invalid -- rare parts are sometimes not listed on-line.

Bottom line, I'm not sure what the correct GM part # is.

Kirban sells the Delco metal heater control valve for $34, Kirban part #6594.

Read somewhere that GM also offers a plastic valve version that is supposedly less likely to corrode & leak, but haven't been able to confirm.

i just ended up not having to replace mine but that should be the number
