Hi guys,
I'm over here trying to put this '85 T-type back together and stumbled upon a small issue. On the two heater pipes, that run on top passenger side of the intake manifold, there is suppose to be a small 3/8in. hose going from one pipe to the other, is that necessary or can it be blocked off? I'm not sure if I'll be able to find a hose with such a tight bend.

That hose (2 not 1) is supposed to go to the throttle body to help warm it in cold weather. Block them and the car will run better.;)

Perfect! Thank you very much for your help. Somebody put a hose going from one pipe to the other, crating a tight bend, and I wasn't sure what that was for. This is my first T-Type, and Buick, so I really appreciate the quick responses.

It's a old school trick to lesson the temp of the intake charge on all 84-87 TR's. No sense in adding more hot air to your hot air!
