New to the board and I have some major reading up to do. I've come across a possible purchase of an 83 T-type for $1500.
The Specs:
3.8l turbo w/ automatic
All original with 38k miles
Needs a windshield
Needs the filler panels between the body and the bumpers (I'd just suck the bumpers back up into the body)
I was wondering if it would be worth it or not to go ahead and pick this up. So far I've been doing some research and I see it's a carbed setup and has a 7.5 open rear I'd assume I'd want to swap to the later efi setup and find computers which I imagine is a bit hard to find. I build turbo volvo's so I'm not new to the turbo thing or having to do wiring/ecu swapping.
I'll get to reading the boards here and seeing what all I can find out. Honestly, do you think it's worth it?
