Just shouting out to introduce myself as a new member on the forum. I have owned owned a 1985 HotAir Grand National for the past 8 years, amongst a few others, and stumbled upon this wonderful community! I look forward to contributing what knowledge I have to this network.

Welcome.

Lots of good info, and good people here. Post a picture of your car if you can. I'm guessing that you live in NY?

You got it, on the east coast where rust is easy to come by! I'm actually in upstate, NY.

Here's a pic of the only 85 in this area:

Literally, just before I got married,

Hello - where in 'upstate' NY. Most people seem to consider 1 foot outside the NYC line as 'upstate' NY.

That's true, I'm actually in Albany, NY. Funny, I notice that's where you're at too. Where in Albany county are you? I own a performance shop on Rt. 155 called Gearhead Performance, if you've ever seen it that's me.

Hello to all in the turbo GN world

nice wheels on your car. I live in slingerlands, not far from rt.155. i looked at your website, it looks like your shop is located closer to the airport, I am on the opposite end of rt.155 by Voorhesville. Maybe 20 minutes from your shop. Looks like you carry all the big name brands. Maybe I'll stop by your shop one of these days!

Thanks, man! I gotta clean them up again... it's been a while. Actually, my buddy is out that way on 85 or something. He's got a white Honda Civic Si with Blue wheels and his tag is "S1LENT". His car is actually in the background of that pic! I'm sure you've seen him because I recall him seeing your car over the summer and rushing over to tell me, lol! How long have you had your piece of history?
Definitely stop by the shop sometime, I'm always here and apparently not that far away, which is cool.

Hello to all in the turbo GN world

yeah, I live off of rt. 85, so mostly likely that was me. I'll stop by your store after the Holidays, I'm always buying parts for my GN. I've had my GN 21 years now, hoping for another 21! Not too many stock pieces left.

Happy Holidaze! (that's with a z)

21 years is a long history! Have a great holiday run and hopefully I'll see you down here sometime! I'll probably be in a daze for sure!

WOW! That's really close! Stop in sometime and we can shoot the **** for a while!

I just finished putting a set of drop spindles on the front end. It looks pretty good.
