Help!!! Ever see this before???

I took my tranny out cause it gave up on me and i was wondering if you guys ever seen this happen before and if you did what was the cause of it??look on the pic on the right side!

Yes it happens...loose bolts will cause it, as will a starter that is not shimmed correctly...I am sure there are more causes as well

Bolts are all tight the starter is shimed perfectly does not wine when i start the car?

Correct torque converter spacing? Torque converters can balloon also

what am i looking at here?
i see that the flexplate looks to be cracked around the bolts that hold it to the crank...

Yeah that and it looks wrinkled by the starter ring. WTH.
