i took the resistor of my stock fan ran a wire to ign and a wire to ground on chassis the car is giving me a code 42 and is running funny the ground is secure im assuming its because the ecm isnt reading the fan, what do i do?
why not? i wanted to take off the resistor even with a 160 tstat car runs in the 190's and dips in the 200-207 range in traffic.. wanted the fan always on 12v i used a relay ign ground fan + and battery 12v.. should i have left the resistor and plug?
