Help finding a song

I am searching for a specific song...

I do not know who sang it or what the title is but I have this info to go on:

- male singer
- I think it was either a R&B ballad or maybe a country cross-over hit.
- released in the last 6 years I think

He is singing about a girl. He is black, she is white. Her daddy won't understand their love. He is a boy from the wrong side of the tracks (or maybe street).

It is heavily melodic with lots of piano I think. Sounds like it could have been a boy band but I think it was a solo singer.

Anyone?

That song sounds too sad. Just hearing you describe it makes me depressed. I have to know how it all ends. Does he get the girl or does dad prevail and make his baby split up with this bad boy.

Patrick - I don't know any lyrics other than I posted. He is singing about being from the wrong side of the tracks...bla bla bla.

It sounds similar to "All or Nothing" by O-Town...

Chris - when I eventually find the song I will ease your suffering and let you know how it ends.

Suzy - yeah I tried but I don't think my recollection of the lyrics is accurate enough. I got too many hits and if I use "black" I get mostly rap and crude songs.

I think I vaguely know what song you are referring to...it goes something like "I believe, love is the answer, I believe, love will find a way" . i can't remember what the exact title is though I hate when I can't figure it out!!!! You might could check radiodelilah.com , Delilah plays all the sappy love songs, we used to have to listen to that stuff at work every night
