Help from the South? Boiled Peanuts!

So I was once stationed in Pensacola Fl, great place bla bla bla....

Anyways, I went to alabama with a friend once and he introduced me to a thing called Boiled Peanuts, And I liked them more than I thought I would!

Anyways, I got trashed the other night and had a craving for boiled peanuts....

and since they dont exactly exsist here in the desert southwest, I was wondering if somebody would be willing to send me a case of the Winn-Dixie cans of boild peanuts - or if any of you good Ol'boys could tell me where to get the BEST ones!

id gladly paypal ya for the foot work..... just cant get over this craving!

I'll see what I can come up with for you Aj. Ever try green peanuts? Soak them in salt water and then boil them and you pretty much have the same thing. I'll check around here with some buds of mine and see what I can find for you free of charge.

I'll see what I can do but you can make them yourself. Take green peanuts (ones that are full sized but not dry yet) and boil them in heavily salted water.

Good Al. I'm not sure if I can get them here but I'm sure you can. If you soak them for a day and then boil them they're much better though.

I grew up here in the South and worked in peanuts coming up so I know and enjoy them. As an alternative, the Peanut Patch brand in the can are pretty good. They sell them on ebay or from other suppliers who can ship to you.
