I had to store my GN over at a friends house this past month & he had a puppy that apparently like to chew on things...Well, he chewed my wiring that went to my hot wired fuel pump at the rear of the car & now I'm having to figure out exactly what went where...
The mounted relay is still mounted safely behind the tank...The wires coming out of it then split up & go into 2 seperate connectors which have 3 wires each going up behind the back bumper area. One set of connectors is fine.....the other one the puppy chewed the male end of the connector completely off & I've got 3 smaller gauge wires dangling loose now. I thought I could just splice them back together, but they all arent the same color...I the 3 going into the connector were red, black & white...the 3 loose ones are grey, black & tan?

Also....There are 2 seperate red wires coming out from the top of the tank...one comes out the front side of the tank & goes to the front of the car traveling along the frame rail.... but the other one that comes out from the back of the tank is just hanging loose..no connector, no nothing, just bare chewed up wire!!!. I dont know where it goes to???

I dont know if it got ripped out of that mounted relay or if its a supposed to be grounded to metal???? Any help would be much appreciated... I can e-mail pics if needed later today or I've got a couple on my phone I could send in a text message to someone...

Thanks, The Darkside

if you paid to store the car there, then i'd say that your buddy needs to buy you some new wiring..

It was free storage...

Is the red wire supposed to go straight to the tank or to the relay then the tank?

put up some pics relays are pretty simple once you understand how they work;)
