HELP>>>>MaxEffort and Direct Scan??'s

I just hooked up DS but I keep getting an error that reads "Hardware Timout Error".
I have tripple checked ALL the connections and I can see that the edge connector is making good contact because I can see the scrape marks on the pcb. I pulled out the edge connector and put it in little by little but still no good. Does the Maxeffort have anything to do with this???
Any other ideas to look at?????

What OS are you using? Is it Win200, WinXP, WinME, Win98 etc. etc.

It will NOT work with windows 2000 (professional).

I got it... stupid me didn't clean BOTH sides of the pcb....
