Help me find a part! Dont want a th700 :(

Hi fellows!

I have a really important question for me!

My tranny guy here in Sweden says that they have looked for this part over usa and whole Sweden. They cant find it. If they dont find it, they want to put a Th700 in. I really dont want to put a 700 in it! Is the 700 convertable to the TTA ? Is it better when it comes to performance things ?

Look at the last page (6/6). The overline is in swedish "Automatväxellåda". In english that is automatic tranny.
The part that is broken on my 200-4R is that part called "Planetväxlar". I dont know what it is called in english, thats why I referr to this picture. Do anyone know how to find this part ?

Bruce ? Do you know anything about this ? Please help me! I dont want to put a 700 in!

They are either referring to the whole transmission planetary group, or more likely the transmission case (going by the pic, cause I sure can't speak the language ) A case shouldn't be too hard to find, I don't think they have to be TR/ TTA specific (correct me if I'm wrong please) -Chuck

Ok... I know what it is named in english now.

It is called planetary gear. I cant belive how weak this tranny seems to be, it has just went 14 k miles... Well, it hasent been driven for the last 10 years, maybe something has dry out.

So, where do I get a planetary gear? It must be somewhere ? If not, I must install a 700.

It is the planetary, but there are 3 of them in the trans, overdrive, front, and rear. You need to know which one it is, Bruce has all of the new and used, stock ones are cheap and if it's the overdrive he has them in unbreakable billet, but their a little more pricey.

Mark, what does the stock ones cost ? I dont know wich one it is, but I think it is the OD planetary, because it was there it begun, between the 3-4 gear.

Do you ship to Sweden, and how long does it take then ?
Do you have the OD in stock ?

I will talk with my tranny company at monday, and maybe set up the deal with you. Its cheaper if they buy than I buy.
