I just rebuilt my 85 gn motor with a lot of goodies and new injectors, fuel pump, casper v3.02 chip, etc.....anyway I just got a labtop to tune this and I need help. The car is idling poorly. The readings are jumping between way rich and way lean and I have a code for rich mixture. I replaced my tps and O2 sensors. The Tps is set right and the iac is jumping from 80-100. what should that be set at and how do I set it? I also just got t-link v.2.13 and don't have instructions. Does anyone have instructions for this? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

first things first...

-what injectors do you have?
-how much fuel pressure are you running?

your o2 #'s will jump around at idle, that's what they're supposed to do...

contact ken mosher for a copy of the instructions...

I am running 42.5 lb injectorsand had the chip programmed for this. So the mixture changeing like that is normal? What about the iac? Thanx for any help.

the o2 #'s will bounce like that at idle with a closed loop chip.

the iac #'s should stabilize at idle...

how much fuel pressure are you running?

Well I just broke my fuel pressure gauge so I need to buy a new one, what pressure should it be with the key on and engine off?

Well, all cars are different...but from my experience I've never needed more than 42#.I think I've got mine set about 40# now...

try to bring your IAC down
say , 25 to 40

make sure the car is totally warmed up, and put your foot on the brake, and put it in gear, then check your IAc numbers then.

Once your bring your IAc numbers down, shut the car off and restart it to make sure the numbers stay the same or very close !!!

remember when you adjust your IAc, you will have to re-adjust your TPS sensor .

:D
