I need your help Im installing a navigation system and I need to connect it to the vehical speed sensor wire. Can anyone please tell me where to find it and what color the wire is. I have a 1987 grand national.
Thanks for the help.

It is located behind the instrument cluster. It is a light blue colored box with I believe 3 wires. Red white and black if my memory serves me correctly.

VSS signal wire is a brown wire, found in the green VSS buffer module, found attached to the base of the steering column. It has two connectors; one blue 3 wire connector and a black single wire connector. The black connector goes to your cruise control module, and the other connector has the brown wire that contains your VSS signal wire (ECM input). The other two wires are 12 volts and ground.
