I about to change valve cover gaskets and want to know the best way to to seal the cover up so oil want leak out.

ive had very good luck with the blue rubber valve cover gasket that SETURBO.COM sales. this is the only gasket i have used that doesnt leak. there expensive but you can reuse them and thats a PLUS

I agree, the blue rubber is the only thing that I've found since 1985 that will hold up to the heat.

I have good results by using the cork gaskets and coating both sides of them with The Right Stuff gasket maker which is available at the local auto parts store. I love this stuff. I think it is a turbo car owners best friend. The only down side to the stuff is that if you ever want to remove the valve covers in the future, you will have to scrape it off. It sticks to metal pretty well.
