Help Please

I just got my Directscan and I am having real problems installing the program. I have downloaded Jeremy's boot disk but don't know how to use it? I am using Windows XP. If someone could give me a step by step walkthrough it will be very much appreciated. I tried to follow Chu's manual but I still can't make the program run in Dos.

Stick the disk in the laptop before powering it up. It "should" work. Also make sure the cable is plugged into the ECM. It works on mine with XP.
