help please

I was wondering if anyone could help me with turbolink i bought turbolink v1.30 (i know its old but im in college and it was cheap) anyway i hook it up to my car and i can't get the ecm to talk to the computer if anyone has any suggestions i would appericate it

Most likely an underpowered parallel port on the laptop.

What kind of laptop is it?

it is a offbrand it is a winbook lt's real old i got it for free 150 MHz 32 meg of ram

Yeah probably the parallel port.

But if you T-link cable has a little pigtail on the end that looks like it hooks into a 9v battery you will need to use that.***BUT*** DO NOT hook a 9v battery in there. You need to get a little holder from Radio Shack that plugs into that. This holder holds 4 AA batteries and has the 9v looking connector on the end. THAt is what you need.

If you don't have that little pigtail them you definitely need to hop on over to that forum and ask Ken for help.
