help quick! how many seals on the tranny filter?

I already took one peach colored one out and replaced it with the filter. Then I cant get the pan on. Realize I cant get the filter to seat all the way. Pushing and pulling, all the sudden I got another seal. This one is black but looks the same as the other two. Question is, did someone else leave it there and add another, or does the black one stay in addition to the one with the kit. Not a big deal, but figured I'd ask before I put t back together.

1 seal. I'd put silicone around the edge where the metal/plastic meet on the new filter. Let it sit over night and put it together tomorrow if possible.

Should be only one seal up there. I made a similar mistake the first time I did this. Pulled the old filter out, saw a seal up there that I couldn't get out, figured it belonged there, so I left it in. I asked this board later and guys said I had to get it out, so off came the pan again.
