I have the following warm idle values in 'park' w/AC off:
IAC=27
INT=127
BLM=124
MAF=6
TPS=.44

FP is 40 static with Translator set at base of 10% lean.

I have tried adjusting the Translator and the IAC screw, but this is as good as I could get. How do I get the IAC down to 10-20 range and the BLM to 128? TIA.

Jim,

Neither one is off enough to worry about it.

But... You can lower the IAC counts by turning the screw CLOCKWISE, that is, tightening it so the throttle blade is open farther making the number go down. Don't forget to turn the screw in very SMALL increments and re-start the car after each tweek of the screw to see the actual change that occured.

Your BLM number is fine.

Thanks Mark. You did say something that I was not doing...restarting the car after each IAC adjustment. I will do that from now on. Thanks.

Car is in 'park' and in looking at the link you provided the IACs are within range of 10-50. Thanks for the link. :)

Just keep in mind that iac falls (usually) when in park and the numbers in the chart are warm in gear.

Thanks for the clarification. I didn't know the chart numbers were for 'drive'.
