Mine was loose even when installed correctly. I ended up putting a zip tie around it to make sure it stayed in place. Not pretty but works.

That clip didn't work worth a shit for me either. I ended up tossing it in with my pile of bolts and use a shim in its place. Works great and keeps the cable in perfect position.

Yep two zap straps on a new one...oh the love affair with these cars

I lost that stupid clip on the way back home from a trip and when I pulled into a gas station I was not able to shift into park. Just got new clips, but will be adding zip ties with the new ones.

Got a size on that fender clip? I did not enjoy laying on the hot azz ground to manually shift the car into park :-(

It's one of the thicker ones. Buy a pack of shims at advance or somewhere and it will fit snug. I bent the tab down on mine so it's easier to get on and off and can't rotate and fall out.

Its just a standard pack of fender alignment shims. If you have any OE ones lying around chanced are you have one that will work.
