My t-type temp started running kinda high...so come to find out my radiator cap was leaking so i got another one but well the temp still runs bout 180 when crusing and then it might go up to 190 but quickly goes back to 180 then it might go to 170 then back again and its cold now but last summer it ran like 165-170 crusing any ideas what it might be help and what is the average temp for these cars?

Could be cavatating air in it should aleviate itself with the new cap after awhile, on a stock set-up i would say mine was close to what you were stating the only thing is you're bouncing around makes me want to think you're thermo is gettin stuck, just keep an eye on it if it bounces change you're thermo i know it's a PIA.
